Article 50 of the AI Act of the European Parliament provides that content generated or changed with AI must be recognizable as such under certain conditions. The goal of the legislature is to create more transparency towards viewers - they should be able to recognize, among other things, if an image has been edited AI-supported. For the automotive sector this can be relevant if vehicle images e.g. B. be freed and placed in a digitally generated environment (virtual showroom, artificial background).

Whether and to what extent a labelling obligation exists depends on the individual case and is neither legally clearly assessable nor conclusively clarified. According to current state, responsible for the labeling of published ads is also the one who publishes the images - so usually you as a dealer. We recommend you evaluate the topic with your legal advisor. Regardless, we want to make the practical implementation as easy as possible.
