Vehicle processing -
The basic data editing tab is the area that is selected when selecting the edit icon
is called directly from vehicle lists.
Here, data are entered, which can generally be referred to as the 'core data' of the vehicle.
The basic data section is divided into six blocks:

- Vehicle number: The first field is not available in all constellations. Here is possibly. Selectable a car manager abbreviation. This field should only be changed in exceptional cases. The second field is the self-assigned offer number. An offer number can only be actively used once in the system. If quotation numbers are reused, it should be ensured that the 'old vehicles' have been completely deleted before reuse.
- Vehicle type: Depending on the vehicle type, further fields can be hidden or used for mandatory entry.
- Vehicle location: The vehicle location defines the external representation / export. Even if the vehicle number points to location "A" - if the vehicle location refers to "B" is exported to the interfaces and exported according to the rules defined for location "B."
- Stand: With a definedLocation linkingThe change of a stand can also entail a change of location with all display / export changes.
- Manufacturer / model: In this field, the manufacturers and associated models are available in the database of the car manager for the respective type area.If you were missing a manufacturer / model, please take itContactup.
- Type area: The type range defined whether a vehicle is guided internally or externally as a passenger car, commercial vehicle, motorcycle or motorhome.
- Alternative type / vehicle type: An entry in these fields causes a vehicle to be shown or exported twice in the external representation. This allows a simultaneous representation, e.g. as a passenger car / commercial vehicle or car / motorhome.
- Vehicle type:Please always select the manufacturer-specific vehicle type (e.g. Touring instead of station wagon, Active Tourer instead of van). The manufacturer-specific type controls the findability on the marketplace and external marketing platforms.
- Vehicle origin: Optionally, a vehicle origin for a vehicle can be stored here.
- Subtitles: Subtitles are output at Autoscout24.PerSettingsAutomatic filling can take place.
- Highlight 1-3: Highlights are output according to dealer package at Mobile.de. PerSettingsAutomatic filling can take place.
