Vehicle Editing - Images

In the Images pane, vehicle images can be viewed, added, removed and sorted. At the same time, there are possibilities of image optimization, catalog image creation, complaint / offline position of images and a download possibility. Image sorting is done by drag and drop, no separate storage is necessary anymore.

Above each image are icons showing the status of an image.

Add images

Images can be added in two ways: Via the stylized camera icon or the button.

The camera icon will access your computer and several images can be selected / uploaded at once.

About the buttonA menu opens in which each image must be selected individually. This variant is only recommended if you use an older browser that does not support multiple upload.

Also via the buttonImages can be imported.

Delete images

Images are deleted by activating the "Mark" checkbox for the images to be deleted and then the buttonis actuated. A collection of images can be made via the links at "Mark: All / None."

Note:

1. Deleted images are definitely deleted and cannot be restored.
   

Publishing / Non-publication of images

About the buttonsorPictures can be published or blocked for publication.

Download images

About the buttonThe vehicle images can be downloaded directly on the vehicle.

Buttons for Image optimization / catalog image creation or complaint

The buttonTriggers an image optimization. The buttonstarts catalog image generation, with existing catalog image generation images can be accessed via the buttonComplainedbecome. These functionalities are separatelyExplained.

Large view

About the symbolAn image can be zoomed up. In both small and large views, the image size is visible in pixels:

Stati of images

Above each image there are three symbols that describe the image status or show it again in more detail when hovering.

1. The left green icon stands for the image size - for image sizes above 640 pixels, this is always green
   
2. The middle icon stands for the optimization status.

Mandatory:

The user will ensure the receipt of optimized images by

- daily check whether optimized images have been provided for download by the provider, optionally in the download area of the browser-based application or the out folder on the FTP server;

- immediate download of provided, optimized images, whereby the customer notes that when uploaded more images have been marked than for optimization, the optimized images are made available for download in the original order with the images not to be optimized.

Mandatory:

Make sure the images you deliver meet the following criteria:

- A resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels;

- An aspect ratio 4:3;

- The images are photographed from a distance of three meters from the vehicle depicted with a free space around the pictured vehicle of 50 cm in which there are no other objects;

- The vehicle to be photographed must not be covered by other objects.

- No objects or objects such as snow, rain and foliage are not on the vehicle to be photographed.

- There are no reflections on the vehicle to be photographed.
