Release Notes picDesigner App 3.8.4, Release: April 2026

We are pleased to introduce you to the innovations and improvements of the picDesigner app in version 3.8.4.

🔧 General changes

  1. In the vehicle inventory can now be targeted byLocationsbe filtered.
  2. In addition, you can enter theSettingsDetermine whether recording should still be possible when the smartphone is inclined (tolerant guidance).

🖼️ Image optimization

  1. The different types of stencil used in the smartphone app to support the correct recording position can now be activated and changed directly in recording mode.
  2. In addition, the volume button can be used to take pictures.

  1. Various technical optimizations have been made, e.g. background transmission of images to allow faster sending of jobs.
