Vehicle processing - mandatory fields, interactions and storage

Entries in vehicle processing can entail internal references and interactions. Depending on the constellation, the car manager also knows different mandatory fields, which may be required when changing a data field. This also entail mandatory entries in other data fields.

Mandatory fields

Mandatory entries are slightly bluish:


If a mandatory field is not filled in or another warning is present, an error message occurs above the corresponding block in which the entry is problematic when attempting to save or when trying to change the driver. Here are screenshots of two examples of such messages:

Interactions

Examples of interactions are the following:
  1. The type of fuel in the basic data has an impact on the mandatory fields to be filled in the area of energy consumption (if the vehicle is required to EnVKV).
  2. No initial registration can be set for new vehicles, and a first registration must be entered for used vehicles.
  3. The setting of VAT. Identifiable in the basic data allows the deposit of lease offers.
  4. If "Price on request" has been set in the basic data, a price entry in the Prices & Costs section will not be stored.

Storage

At the end of the respective processing page there are usually several buttons for storage. Irrespective of these, the data also takes place when switching from range to range.

  1. Cancel = entries are discarded
  2. Save & vehicle list = entries are saved, the list of vehicles is called up.
  3. Save & vehicle details = Entries are saved, the change to the tab of basic data in processing mode.
  4. Save = entries are saved, no page change.
  5. In the case of incomplete vehicles, the button "Ssave & vehicle details" replaced by Save to existing vehicles = entries are saved, the vehicle is transferred to the existing vehicles.

  1. In the case of acceptance vehicles, there is the button "Save and print" = entries are saved, the print shop for the QR code of the vehicle in question is called directly.

  1. There is no need to store separately in the Images section, added images or image changes do not need to be backed up separately. Therefore, there are only jumping possibilities here: Vehicle list = The list of vehicles is called up, vehicle details: Call of the vehicle in reading mode.

Display last editing

Both read and edit modes show when a vehicle was last edited.

Notes:
  1. Even if all fields marked as mandatory fields in the car manager are filled in the car manager, further mandatory data may be required from individual marketing platforms or the entries that are possible in the car manager may not be accepted externally. In such cases, please check the presentation on the platforms or theFeedback providedon the vehicle or the interfaces in the car manager.
  2. Warning or error messages may be. Not immediately visible, please scroll through the entire page if there are apparent problems saving entries / asking when switching pages.
  3. If multiple entries have been made but the page could not be saved due to warning or error messages, all entries expire when leaving the page.
  4. The editing message is also shown if no changes have been made. Opening the vehicle in machining mode is the triggering factor.
